Let's set up listening

I listen through the microphone. Let's make sure I can hear your piano!
  1. MicrophoneAllow access so Maestro can hear your piano.
  2. Silence checkStay quiet for two seconds while I measure the room.
  3. Play middle CPlay the C near the middle of your keyboard.
  4. Play a chordC, E and G together, so I know I hear every note.

Tip: the iPad microphone is at the top edge. On the music stand it hears the piano well. Turn off TV or music nearby for the best results.

Find my level
Have you played the piano before?

Pick one, then I'll listen to a few short pieces for both hands to find your level.

Wow! You already know a lot.

If Maestro keeps saying you're late when you feel on time, raise the offset (the results screen can also suggest a value).
